guns produce...
gunshots...
who invented this horrid weapon
gunshots...
they say they are to protect us
gunshots...
really, they kill us
gunshots...
listen to the cries
gunshots...
of innocents, of days past, present and future
gunshots...
that lay dead, in a pool of their own blood
gunshots...
when will we finally bury all guns
gunshots...
one by one
gunshots...
until they are all banished from the face of this earth
gunshots...
or better yet
gunshots...
recycle them, melt the metal, and sculpt images of beauty
gunshots...
to remind us of the days of violence past
gunshots...
that took away our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers,
sons and daughters
gunshots...
and maybe then, peace will be with us at long last
