They say - War is good for the economy
I say     - How, dead people can't spend money

They say - War brings on employment
I say     - Yeah, employment to kill or be killed

They say - War brings on production of goods
I say     - Bombs, guns and missiles are no good

They say - War saves lives
I say     - From what I see, it wastes lives

They say - War helps feed the hungry
I say     - Then why so many wars,
                          and still so many people dying from hunger

They say - War is to protect me from my enemy
I say     - How can they be my enemy,
                          when I do not even know them

They say - War brings a country together
I say     - Then why is there so much separation everywhere

They say - War is good for us in the end
I say     - Nuclear bombs and children don't blend

They say - War brings on peace
I say     - That's an oxymoron if I've ever heard one
