They say I don't exist
Well I do, you can find me in Africa, Asia, Mexico,
    Central America and South America
For I am a big black wild cat
    a sensual cat of a
    different melanistic
    color
A sleek and sexy black panther
    a rare exotic breed indeed
With a lustrous fur coat that is as dark as night
     and shines iridescently in daylight
A lustrous fur coat that was given to me for life
So don't come around me skinnin' me with your knife!
My big glowing cat eyes have impeccable sight
and can see well in the deep of the dark night
My whiskers are many and tell me plenty
My body is muscular and strong
With four legs that are very powerful,
    that can sprint very fast
With a tail that swishes behind me back and forth
    when I'm on the go
You can tell when I've been around because you see
my tracks in the dirt, smell my scats lying around,
find my scrapes in the hidden, or see my scratches
    on logs

Let me tell you though, I have no rivals
    - no true foes in the wild
I am mostly social with a hunting nature
that is mostly crepuscular and at
    other times diurnal
Feeding only when I'm hungry,
and running, playing or resting when I'm not
I catch my prey whenever and wherever they lurk
My menu is not limited, for it contains a wide
    variety of animals
Such as cattle, horses, deer, larger rodents,
    monkeys and fish
Which I will climb the highest mountain or cliff to get
because they all make a most tasty dish
My jaws often kill them by piercing their skull
with one swift bite that lock down on them
with all my power and might
Do not think of me as violent because of this
For it is a fact of life that I must kill to eat
Because in this wild world, it's either hit or miss
