Why should I make love to you?
When all I feel is black emptiness emanating from
    your sorrow filled limbs
Limbs that try to hold and comfort me
Limbs than only have hollow embraces to offer me
Embraces that will leave my heart feeling blacker than
the dark matter in the sky's night where the stars
    refuse to shine

Why should I accept your passionless kisses
that are offered down from your pale
    lifeless lips
Lips that speak to me in tongues
Lips that offer me no words of love
Lips with a mouth that smiles saccharine filled smiles
that leave me with a bitter aftertaste
Smiles that taken in one too many doses will leave me with
    a cancer filled heart

Why should I listen to your words of untruth
Words that along with your feigned emotions ring false
False like the answer of a crank caller
who only has a feigned heavy breath
    to give
Along with careless whispers that fall
    from an untrue tongue
Words that always leave my ears begging
    for the truth of silence

So tell me again, why should I make love to you?
