Here's the story of 4 lovely ladies
Who are all single and having sex in the big city
in and outside of their homes
All of them have differing hairstyles and careers,
unlike their mothers
Who all live separately but always hang together
in bars, dance clubs and cafes
Now let me tell you about them, one by one
First we'll start with Carrie Bradshaw, who has really
long curly hair, who wears it sometimes straight
She is a sex columnist for the lonely loined ones
who are looking to get laid but don't know how
A fashion diva who is always keepin up with the times
Next there's Samantha Jones, who sports a gorgeous
blonde 'do, and never has a hair out of place
(except in bed)
She is a PR Exec for all the "who's who" in Applewood
and never fails to put the men in the mood
A glamour doll who likes to do it up pure hollywood style
There's also Charlotte, who has beautiful brown hair,
that's always coifed and upkept with the greatest of care
She is an art gallery dealer for the up-and-coming
hopefully soon-not-to-be starving artists,
with some of them being whom she's kissed
and sometimes more
A conservative dresser who always looks like a lady
Lastly there's Miranda Hobbes, who has ravishing red hair,
the cutest cropped 'do you'll ever see
She is a lawyer, who can get you out of an apartment
eviction jam or save you from an expensive insurance scam
all the while inbetween her search for the perfect man
A sharp dressed woman who loves to hang out in casual
Now I'll tell you about the men who were important
in their lives at one point, but not anymore...
We'll start with Mr. Big
Who was Carrie's true first love
He seemed to fit her bill of a man in every way except one
He was an emotionally unavailable, distant rich guy
who thought that money could buy everything
including happiness
He was always blowing Carrie off with the tip of his cigar
so she finally dumped him
Then he married the perfect Natasha and became
unhappily after all
Because he really loved Carrie
and all her imperfect, irrational ways
Then next I'll tell you about two of Samantha's
most interesting men
Who were two sizes of a different color
One was Jeff whose pint size turned her off
until his words of sex turned her on
With the other being Mr. Cocky, who she didn't get to try
because he was too big, even for her
She's had many more lovers besides these two
including one that she even loved
but would rather forget
because he threw her away like an old shoe
when he met his soon-to-be-wife
So she moved on and is living the single high life
Then there's Trey
Who is Charlotte's husband
He was the catch of her lifetime
He fell in love with her at first sight
but he had one problem
He couldn't get it up, even with the
use of all his might
Which caused them to eventually fall
upon hard times
Which left her feeling alone and
disillusioned in what was suppose
to be the perfect marriage
Now let me tell you about Steve
Who was Miranda's beau
He was so full of insecurities
and childlike behavior
that anything she said
always seemed like a critique
They were happy together, but
his shortcomings in his wallet
and her becoming tired of playing mom
finally got the better of them
So they separated and went their own
lonely ways
With him realizing he needs to get his confidence
together before he could be with a strong
confident woman like her
These are four men who don't know each other
but are all living with one thing in common
They are all single and alone in this big city
Hoping that one day that they'll meet a lady
Who will take him on as her fellow
and give him all of her love
Though it will have to be someone else besides
one of the ladies mentioned above
Because...
Despite all their problems with their past men,
they all have a common love - the Cosmopolitan
and a career that supports their own financial end
So maybe one day these 4 lovely ladies will forget
about conventionality, pool all their money
and talents together, buy a house and start
a single ladies community
A house in which they will all live together
while continuing to pursue the single life
of good times and sex in the city,
All the while maintaining their careers
and keeping themselves mighty pretty
What will they call themselves?
Why they will call themselves - The Lady Bunch
The Lady Bunch
That's what they'll call themselves - The Lady Bunch
The Lady Bunch
Which is how they'll become The Lady Bunch
The Lady Bunch
The Lady Bunch
Yes, that's the way they'll become The Lady Bunch
